Marie-Marguerite Roy is the daughter of Pierre Roy (1638-1721) and Catherine Ducharme (1657-1719). Her siblings were Anne Roy (?-1744), Madeleine Roy (1684-?), Pierre Roy (1677-?), Jacques Roy.
