Louis Hebert was born ABT 1575 in Maison Mortier d'Or, Paris, France. He died 23 JAN 1627 in Quebec, Canada. He was the son of Nicolas Hebert (c1540-c1600) and Jacqueline Pageau (c1540-c1580).

Louis Hebert's wife was Marie Rollet (c1580-1649). They were married JUL 1602 in Paris, France. They had one known child named Guillemette Hebert (c1604-1684).

Champlain s'embarque sur le Jonas le 3septembre 1607 à Canseau. Il soigne autant blancs qu'indiens. Il arriveen 1617 à Québec. Il est épicier, apothicaire et défricheur en 1617. Il estnommé procureur du Roi par Samuel de Champlain en 1620. Il estinhumé au cimetière des Récollets, couvent St-Charles, Québec en 1627
Il meurt à la suite d'une mauvaise chute sur la glace.
