From the book on the line of Hugh Gunnison David's birth and death arelisted as Feb 14, 1792 to Feb 20, 1857 but his tombstone reads Deathon Feb 14, 1865 ae 66 years which makes his birthday sometime around1799. I'm more likely to believe the stone as books sometimes haveerrors and information is solicited from all over so it's easy to get wrong.I'll have to go to Plainfield myself and find out.
