Benjamin Cram, son of John Cram was one of the grantees of Hampton, Hemarried, Nov 28, 1662 Argentine Cromwell (or Cromlom), possibly widow ofThomas Cromwell, one of the grantees, then about twenty one years old, whoappears to have been in Hampton a short time, with the first settlers, and is saidto have died in Boston in 1649 according to the History of Hampton, NH (p.650). There seems to be much greater evidence that she was the daughter ofGiles Cromwell who is believed to have been a nephew of Oliver Cromwell.
