Daniel Walter Ladd was born 22 MAR 1886 in Waterbury, Washington, Vermont. He died 1962 in Orange, Orange County, Vermont. He was the son of Walter William Ladd (1857-1910) and Addie Morse (1859-1921). His siblings were Sadie M. Ladd (1883-1961), John Shaw Ladd (1884-1923), Kate E. Ladd (1888-1945), Harry H. Dan and Kate were left the Ladd Farm on Cutler Corner Road. Theyweren't allowed to marry in order to keep the farm. Deane lived withthem on the farm but was a school teacher.
Once Kate died, they couldn't keep the farm together and they lost it.Apparently Dan liked to drink and Kate would keep them in line.
