Gerald Baraby was born 1914 in St. Albans, Vt. He is the son of Ernest George Baraby (1887-?) and Leona O'Leary. His siblings were Hortense Baraby (1911-?), Clair Baraby (1912-?), Alma Baraby (1915-?), Eleanor Baraby (1918-?).
