Sally Clough

Sally Clough was born 1768 in Andover, Merrimack Co, NH. She died 13 NOV 1857 in Royalton, Windsor, Vermont, USA. She was the daughter of Moses Clough (1742-1829) and Mary (Molly) Cram (c1750-1824). Her siblings were Wadleigh Clough, Miriam Clough, Polly Clough, Deborah Clough (1780-?), Moses Clough (1782-?), Hannah Clough (1787-?).

Sally Clough's husband was John Ladd (1763-1840). They were married. They had 12 known children named John Ladd (1794-?), James Ladd (1796-?), Deborah Ladd (1797-?), Hannah Shaw Ladd (1799-?), John Shaw Ladd (1801-?), Elijah Shaw Ladd (1802-1883), Tyler Ladd (1804-?), Abigail Ladd (1806-1807), Isaac Ladd (1809-?), Enoch Ladd (1811-?), Roxanna Ladd (1814-?), and John S Ladd (c1817-1875).

Sally's death record lists her mother as being Ruth.

Lieut. MOSES, son of Jabez and Miriam (Brown) CLOUGH, b. Poplin June 6,1742; d. Andover March 22, 1829; came to Andover before 1777; res.Andover on farm now owned by George Haley; m. at Hawke Nov. 8,1764, MOLLY CRAM; both at that time claimed Nottingham as aresidence. Molly d. Andover Jan. 7, 1824. It is probable that Badcock'srecord on Jan. 8, 1824, refers to Mrs. rather than Mr. Clough.
