John Baptiste Barabé was born JUN 1853 in St. Brigide d' Iberville, QC. He died 16 MAR 1902 in St. Albans, Vt. He was the son of Jacques Barabé (1829-1917) and Marcelline Langevin (1826-1910). His siblings were Sarah A. Barabé (c1848-<1891), Michel Barabé, Marcelline Barabé, Francois-Xavier Barabé, George Barabé, Josephine Barabé (1859-1909).

John Baptiste Barabé's wife was Rose Pulchérie Gingras (1847-1937). They were married 16 OCT 1877 in Ste-Brigide D'Iberville, PQ Canada. They had five known children named Rose Marie Barabé (1878-1950), Flora Baraby (1881-?), Frank Xavier Baraby (1883-1971), Blanche Barabé (1884-?), and Ernest George Baraby (1887-?).

His death record in St. Albans City Clerks office backs up the informationabout his parents although it has his mother's last name as Laugesis. Italso says he died of Pernicious Anemia. Also says he was born inFarnham.
